Starting this new scratchpad

I'll soon be moving to Malaysia, where I hope to continue my research with Lepidoptera (see my website for details of my projects: http://dnabarcoding.blogspot.com/). To educate myself on the local fauna, I have decided to start this scratchpad. It will be a mash-up of all the relevant information about each potential Malaysian species. I'm particularly interested in taxonomy (the validity of the names, changes in use, changes in species concepts and higher taxonomy) and whether each species has any genetic information already available (the NCBI block is particularly useful). I already have two scratchpads - http://taygetis.myspecies.info/ and http://atteva.myspecies.info/ - but as it has been a while since I first started them, much of the procedure is like new, and I am learning again how to go about building and populating the sites. I have been quite active with the Taygetis pages recently, but the Atteva pages have not received any attention, as much of the information I would have added is already present and well presented on the wikipedia page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ailanthus_webworm.
