Genus names

The next thing I want to do on the scratchpad is check the status of the included genus names. As there are 101 genus names in Lycaenidae alone, this is going to take me a while. I will be using the "Butterflies and Moths of the World Generic Names and their Type-species" by Brian Pitkin and Paul Jenkins, available from http://www.nhm.ac.uk/research-curation/research/projects/butmoth/ to perform a check on the status of each genus name, and record the type-species. I will try to add a link to the relevant page for each genus too.

I'm going to look into a way of automating this too, to make it quicker, but it will take a bit of experimentation.
