Adding specimens

Added my first specimen to the scratchpad to get an idea what the species mash-up will look like with specimen information. The first specimen record came from BOLD of an hesperiid collected in Thailand. I am having problems getting the images to appear, even though they upload fine.

Having specimen details is going to be very useful for when it comes to knowing which species have been barcoded and which haven't. I think scratchpads are a necessary addition to my use of BOLD (which is developing to look more like a scratchpad but) which still is limited in terms of what data can appear in one place (i.e. the species mash-up). ideally, the scratchpad could automatically mine the data from BOLD like it does for NCBI, Wikipedia, Flickr ...

There may be ways to do this, but I have a lot to learn. For now adding all the data for each specimen manually will take a long time but I will see how using the "Clone" feature and spreadsheet functions can speed things up.
